New Directors Join CPA Board
The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) is pleased to announce that Kevin Kelley (Executive Director, Rochester Tooling and Manufacturing Association) and Burl Finkelstein (Executive Vice President, Kason Industries) have joined its Board of Directors.
“I am very excited that Burl and Kevin have joined the CPA Board,” said Brian O’Shaughnessy, CPA’s Chief Co-Chair. ”They are proven leaders, care deeply about balanced trade and U.S. growth issues, and help expand our leadership presence in both New York and Georgia.”
Burl Finkelstein is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Kason Industries in Newnan, Georgia. Mr. Finkelstein, both an engineer and a lawyer, is responsible for the overall operations of three plants. He is also the Treasurer of the Georgia Association of Manufacturers.
Kevin Kelley is the Executive Director of the Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association in Rochester, New York. He was previously the Executive Director of High Technology of Rochester (HTR) as well as a former government relations director for the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kelley has been involved in regional technology development strategies as well as workforce development.
“New York and Georgia present significant opportunities for CPA growth with the assistance of Kevin and Burl,” continued O’Shaughnessy. ”We continue working to maintain and increase the level of Board quality at CPA. Our members and supporters expect a professionally run organization that makes a difference in trade policy. The addition of these two new Board members is a further step down that path.”
