The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) Issues Forum will meet on Tuesday, Prof. Navarro will explain why the Obama Administration’s policy approach to the current economic crisis will not lead the US along the path towards a longer term prosperity. Only by rebuilding America’s industrial base will long term prosperity be achieved. A key policy ingredient to achieve that goal -- conspicuously missing from the Obama agenda -- is restructuring of the current U.S.-China trade relationship and its collateral large trade imbalances. Prof Navarro is the author of The Coming China Wars and a CNBC contributor and has testified before the U.S.- China Commission and Congress on China and economic policies.
