SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Senator Tom White, a partner with White Wulff & Jorgensen from Omaha, NE, represents District 8 in the Nebraska State Legislator. He serves on the Business and Labor, Revenue, Urban Affairs and Rules Committees and is the Vice Chairperson of the Nebraska Retirement Systems.
Senator M.L. "Cap" Dierks, a rancher and retired veterinarian from Ewing, NE, represents District 40 and is serving his fifth term in the Nebraska State Legislature. He serves on the Agriculture and Cultural Affairs Committees and is Vice Chairperson of the Revenue Committee.
Thomas F. "Fred" Stokes, is a Mississippi farmer, retired Army Major, Executive Director of the Organization for Competitive Markets (www.competitivemarkets.com) and President of the Coalition for a Prosperous America (www.prosperousamerica.org).
Richard Trumka, is the youngest person to serve as Secretary-Treasurer of the AFL-CIO in the
organization’s history. He was first elected to the post in 1995 at the age of 46. In 1989 he was elected to the AFL-CIO Executive Council.
Charles Blum, is President and CEO of International Advisory Services Group. He served as a U.S. Trade Representative under the Reagan administration. Mr. Blum also has served as a diplomat in the U.S. State Department.
Tom Mullikin, Moore & Van Allen, is a senior attorney and environmental expert with the law firm of Moore & Van Allen PLLC, leading the firm's Government, Policy and Regulatory Affairs Team. He has authored two books, including Climate Change: Global Problems, Global Solutions and Truck Stop Politics.
Pat Mulloy, is a Commissioner on the U.S. China Economic and Security Review Commission, and an Adjunct Professor of International Law at Catholic University Law School. He served in the Clinton Administration as Assistant Secretary for Market Access and Compliance in the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration from 1998-2001.
Brian O'Shaughnessy, is the Chairman of Revere Copper Products, which was founded in 1801 by Paul Revere. Revere Copper may be the oldest manufacturing company in America. Mr. O’Shaughnessy is recognized as an expert on international trade, energy and environmental issues.
Rob Dumont, is the President of the Tooling, Manufacturing & Technologies Association. TMTA is a national organization representing manufacturers. Mr. Dumont is an attorney with significant experience in public policy issues surrounding labor, manufacturing and trade.
