Unemployment Agency to Assess Solvency Tax on Negative Balance Employers:
November 30 is deadline to act if you want to avoid the assessment.

The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency will be imposing an Unemployment Insurance Solvency Tax.  The agency has issued letters dated November 7, 2008 to over 34,000 negative balances employers.
