“Many of our members have been directly impacted by China’s ongoing economic aggression. In tonight’s State of the Union, we were gratified to hear President Trump reaffirm his commitment to confronting predatory trade. We look forward to working with his administration on further trade remedies, including the use of reciprocal tariffs. When combined with infrastructure investment that incorporates strong Buy America preferences, such policies can help to boost America’s manufacturing competitiveness.”

I agree with President Trump and support the CPA right down to the ground. The United States of America must be able to be totally self-sufficient as it was in the time of our Fathers and Mothers. Americans must stand shoulder to shoulder in support of each other and Grow, Manufacture, and Deliver “Everything” on our own. America for Americans we should strive to pass on the same America we inherited from the Greatest Generation the Men and Women the saved the World with their Blood, Sweat, and Tears!

Unfortunately, Trump and USTR Lighthizer refuse to support Buy American policies like COOL for food and agriculture, and they have so far the administration has even refused requests to change the USDA’s Product of USA label so that meatpacking companies—American-based and foreign alike—cannot use it on imported meats, blatantly deceiving US consumers.
