ECONOMIC
RESEARCH
The CPA Economics Team is focused on research into policies that can restore broadly shared U.S. prosperity, reduce our huge trade deficit, raise U.S. economic growth rate and reduce inequality. Our work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and supported testimony to congressional committees and the International Trade Commission. In 2019, a CPA research paper on U.S. tariffs on China won the NABE’s Mennis Award as Most Outstanding Paper of the year. Our research encompasses these topics in international economics. For our recent publications, click on one of the five links below or search for a specific topic.
